Costs
Professional driving skills are becoming more important in a society which places a lot of importance on transportation for economic growth and for the movement of goods and people. However, acquiring this skill isn't inexpensive. There are many costs to think about, including the costs of training and exam. In the Netherlands, the cost of getting Code 95 can be as high as 3000 euros. Fortunately, the costs associated with acquiring this certificate are much lower in Poland, where they can be as low as 1500-2000 PLN.
For truck drivers, a Code 95 certificate is necessary to operate trucks that weigh more than 7.5 tons in Europe. The certificate must be added to a driver's license category C or C+E and is valid for five years. The certificate can be added to C1 or C1E licences, which allows the driver to drive with lighter trailer combinations.
To get a Code 95 certificate, you must pass a medical examination and take an exam called a psychotest. After completing the course you will receive an official plastic Code 95 Certificate that can be added to your driving license. The course fee includes a medical examination, PKZ service and payment for the plastic Code 95 Certificate.
The cost of the Code 95 certificate is similar to other driving courses. Moreover, it is important to note that the course must be taught at an approved driving school certified by the CBR. The CBR has strict guidelines that trainers must adhere to. Trainers must immediately notify the CBR if, for example students are absent.
The trainee must then visit the Road Traffic Safety Directorate and apply for the renewal of their license. The deadline for obtaining a new licence is six months from the date that the course was completed. This is to ensure that the driver is at the required level of knowledge and competence for driving a heavy vehicle. The driver should also know how to read speed limits and kilometer signs posted on the road.
Options for training
The code 95 on a driver's licence indicates that you have completed the required instruction to drive trucks or buses professionally. This is a requirement you must fulfill every five years to renew your permit. The 35-hour course can be completed at a driving academy or at home using the internet-based learning. The course can be spread out over five years. Your employer can cover the cost of the courses.
There are two kinds of training for Code 95: the long course and the short course. The long course lasts about four weeks, and it concludes with a governmental test. After passing the exam you will receive a plastic card. The card has to be submitted to the unification of the European certificate database. The school where you studied will submit it to database. The card will be processed within 14 days.
The cost of the long course is about 2 000 PLN. The examination costs 300 PLN. You'll need to pay an additional cost to the school to allow them to upload your certificate into the unified European database. Once the card has been made and you are able to pick it up from the school.
As a trainer you must adhere to the guidelines to be able to offer a course that issues Code 95. You must first submit a plan of training to the CBR. This training plan must be approved before the start of classes. You must also follow a number of other strict guidelines during the training.
You will receive a certificate from the CBR when you completed the course successfully. You can then send this to the RDW. You can then renew your license at the municipality once you have submitted it successfully. If you don't renew your license by the expiry date, you won't be allowed to drive professionally more than 12 hours a week. Exams
You must pass both the theoretical and practical tests to get the code 95 on your license. These tests can be taken separately, or as part of the acquisition of a basic category license at a driving school. The largest driving license in Europe is the C-license. The new licence style for buses and trucks was introduced in the year 2011.
